MEET THE OWNERS
Troy & Michelle Harms
Their journey has been a labor of love. no pun intended.
For owners, Troy and Michelle Harms, their farmstead wedding and reception business is a dream realized.
The farm has been in Troy's family for generations, but after the passing of Uncle Joe Vance in 1990, it fell into disrepair.
This did not stop Michelle from dreaming of a farm wedding. However, at the time of their 2013 wedding, the family farm was not an option, and there were no venues like it in the area. Fast forward to 2017, the couple took possession of the family farm, welcomed twins, and built a new home on the property. Although the idea of creating a wedding business on the property had been discussed, a plan was not officially in the works until the couple was approached in the fall of 2018. Three amazing couples booked their weddings at Harms Country Farms thus kicking off the inaugural year. Since starting the business, the couple has welcomed another child, built on a bridal suite with bathrooms, put a concrete dance floor/patio off the back of the quonset, and added in some rustic fencing for background photos.
Troy & Michelle's cup truly runneth over!
